Abdul Basit Khalid nets winner for Esperance in win over Monastir
Ghanaian attacker Abdul Basit Adam was the hero of the day for Esperance as his goal secured a hard fought win over Monastir.
Basit scored an 82nd minute winner to propel his side to take home the maximum points.
The 24-year-old ghosted his marker to score the match winner for the Blood and Gold outfit.
He has netted 2 two goals in as many games for Esperance since joining in January.
Esperance are on top of the Tunisian Ligue with 46 points after 18 games.
Basit has previously featured for Dreams FC, FC Teuta in Kosovo and Prishtina in Albania.
