Andre Ayew set to play for Black Stars next month
Baghdad Bounedjah, Jung Woo-young, and Andre Ayew of Al Sadd have been called up to the national team ahead of the forthcoming FIFA matchdays in September, which include two qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
On September 2, Bounedjah will play for Algeria against Djibouti in Group A, followed by a match against Burkina Faso on September 7.
In the African qualifiers, Ghana will face South Africa and Ethiopia in the same round, while Jung Woo-young will join the South Korean national squad ahead of games against Iraq and Lebanon.
Ghana is scheduled to host Group G opponents Ethiopia on Friday, September 3 in Cape Coast, before playing South Africa on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Johannesburg respectively.
