Asante Kotoko continued their preparations ahead of the second round of the Ghana Premier League with a win against Rainbow Stars.
The Porcupin defeated Rainbow Stars 3-1 at the Adako Jachie training grounds on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Patrick Asmah, Augustine Okrah and newboy Andy Kumi secured the Porcupines the comfortable win.
Patrick Asmah broke the deadlock of the game connecting a beautiful free kick after just four minute into the game.
Four minutes later, winger Ausgutine Okrah doubled the lead before Andy Kumi made it three in the second half.
New coach Mariano Barretto and his assistant Miguel Bruno were present to watch the team for the first time.
