Big boost for Nottingham Forest as Jordi Osei-Tutu inches closer to recovering from injury
English-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Jordi Osei-Tutu is inching closer to making a full recovery from his injury at Nottingham Forest.
The versatile player joined the English Championship club on a season-long loan move from Premier League outfit Arsenal this summer.
Unfortunately, he picked up a knock on his debut when Nottingham Forest faced AFC Bournemouth.
In the team’s next match against Blackburn Rovers, Jordi Osei-Tutu felt pains and had to limp off with an injury that saw his team suffer a defeat.
Subsequently, the checks and assessments made revealed that the player will need to spend several weeks on the sidelines.
Fortunately, he appears to be making significant progress in the treatment. Information gathered is that he is feeling better and the pains in his legs are now minimal.
According to sources, he could even return to training with his teammates right after the international break.
This comes as positive news for Nottingham Forest with the club currently struggling for points in the English Championship.
