Black Stars newbie Daniel-Kofi Kyereh to miss South Africa clash
Ghanaian forward Daniel-Kofi Kyereh who earned his maiden Ghana call up will miss the Black Stars game against South Africa in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.
Ghana will play host to Ethiopia at the Cape Coast stadium on Friday, September 3 before playing South Africa at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg on Monday, September 6.
The 25-year-old who earned a late call up is currently in camp with the Black Stars and could feature when given the opportunity against the Walia Ibex of Ethiopia.
However, according to reports in the German media outlets, Kofi Kyereh who has been outstanding for St Pauli in the Bundesliga II this season will not take part in the away game against South Africa.
His absence for the Bafana Bafana game maybe as a result of South Africa being listed among the covid-19 red-list countries.
