Black Stars performance in the last 22 World Cup qualifiers

On Friday evening at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana will play Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff.

Footballghana.com takes a look at the Black Stars’ performance in the last twenty-two (22) qualifying games.

The Black Stars have won 12 of the 22 games they’ve played, and they’ve never lost a home game during that time.

Black Stars journey to the final playoff stage starting on Friday was tough but at the end of the group games, the Black Stars topped group G with 13 points after six games.

The final group game played at the Cape Coast Stadium ended 1-0 against South Africa, captain Dede Ayew scored the only from the penalty spot.
