Breaking News: Dortmund legend Otto Addo appointed Ghana assistant coach
Borussia Dortmund legend, Otto Addo will serve on the new technical team of the Ghana Black Stars, as he has been appointed as assistant coach for the team.
The current assistant coach for the yellow and blacks is expected to serve as first assistant coach to the returning Milovan Rejevac with Maxwell Konadu supporting the pair.
The role of Black Stars head coach became vacant a couple of weeks ago, with the Ghana Football Association deciding to terminate the contract of CK Akonnor.
The FA through the executive committee constituted a panel to engineer the search for a new coach.
Former Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac was recommended as the ideal replacement and has now signed a 1 year contract with the option for an extension.
Milovan’s appointment was confirmed at the same news conference that saw Otto Addo and Maxwell Konadu being named as assistant coaches.
It is thought that Otto Addo will continue with his role at Borussia Dortmund while serving as the first assistant coach for the Black Stars.
