Dauda Mohammed set to receive his first Black Stars call up for Nigeria encounter
Attacker Dauda Mohammed is one of three debutants named by interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo for the upcoming 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria.
According to Sportsworldghana, the last spot for the attacking option was between Dauda and Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah, but the technical staff chose the Cartagena attacker.
Dauda is on loan from Anderlecht to Cartagena in Spain’s second division, where he has scored seven goals in 27 La Liga 2 appearances this season.
Antoine Seyram Semenyo of Bristol City and Elisha Owusu of Gent is the other new names.
The Black Stars of Ghana will take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria on March 25th at the Baba Yara Stadium for a place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be held in Qatar.
Nigeria will land in Ghana on March 23rd ahead of the crucial game against Ghana.
