The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana FA has ruled in favour of Steadfast FC, declaring them winners over Techiman City FC in their Match Day 23 encounter.

Techiman City FC failed to turn up for the game which was scheduled to be played at the ASliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on Sunday June 6, 2021.

Steadfast filed a protest against the Techiman City for failing to turn up for their Matchweek 23 Division One League match in contravention of Article 33.1(f) of the Division One League Regulations of the GFA.

Steadfast turned up for the game and attended the pre-match technical meeting and also showed up on the field for kick off.

30 minutes after the official start time, with the Techiman City still not present at the match venue and in accordance with the rules of play, the match officials declared the match over.

Steadfast, therefore, prayed that the Disciplinary Committee declare them winners and accordingly award the 3 points and 3 goals and also sanction Techiman City for not turning up.
