England-based goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot opens up on representing Ghana
Black Stars goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot says it is an honour to play for Ghana.
The Swindon Town shot stopper is currently with the Black Stars team at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
He is the first-choice goalkeeper at the moment for the four-time African Champions.
Wollacot has been in post for Ghana in games against Morocco and Gabon conceding two goals in the process.
Despite conceding goals in his first tournament, he has been instrumental in goal for the senior national soccer team.
And according to him, it is an honour to play for Ghana.
Ghana will play Comoros in Garoua on Tuesday and the England-based goalkeeper is expected to continue in goal for the Black Stars.
A win on Tuesday would be all but enough to take Ghana through to the knockout stage as one of the third best finishers in the competition.
