Eric Ofori Antwi rules out Asante Kotoko return

Medeama goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi says he has run his race with Asante Kotoko and thus has no ambition or desire of returning to the club.

The enterprising shot stopper joined the Porcupine Warriors from Amidaus Professionals after a superlative performance with the Ghana U-20 team in 2015.

Ofori Antwi left the two-time Africa champions in 2017 after deemed surplus to requirement.

The 26-year-old in an interview with Onua TV expressed his desire to leave the Yellow and Mauve with five months left on his current deal but asked if he could return to Kotoko, Ofori Antwi said his days with the Kumasi based club is irrevocably over.

“Everything is possible but it will be difficult for me to re-join Kotoko. I have played for the team before but it is not my target to return to a club I have already featured for”

“It is not like Kotoko is not a good team, they are but I don’t want it that way” he said.
