Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu joins Division One side Bekwai Youth Football Academy
Former Asante Kotoko Midfielder Richard Senanu has completed a move to Division One side Bekwai Youth Football Academy.
The attacker has penned a short term deal with the club following a fruitful negotiations.
Senanu joins the Bekwai side after leaving Asante Kotoko in June 2020.
The midfielder after recovering from long layoff rejected contract renewal with the Porcupines Warriors.
The 27-year-old suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in 2018 in a game against Cameroonian giants Coton Sport in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
After series of scans in the country, Richard Senanu was flew to Germany to start his rehabilitation process which sidelined for more than a year.
Richard Senanu despite recovering to feature in one game for the club last season decided to part ways with after contract renewal stalled.
The midfielder will re-unite with his former coach Johnson Smith and former teammates Augestine Sefah.
