Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom confirms multiple offers from Ghana Premier League clubs
Former Black Stars right-back Samuel Inkoom has confirmed receiving multiple of offers from Ghana Premier League clubs.
The former Kotoko defender is currently without a club after his contract with Georgian club Torpedo Kutaisi expired.
According to Inkoom, he has been contacted by several Ghana Premier League sides but he is yet to make a decision on his next move.
“I am now back home. A lot of local clubs have sent in offers but in the end, I will have to decide with my agent but I believe a comeback to Ghana is very possible because that is where I started,” he told Connect FM.
The defender added he wants to help grow the attention of the Ghana Premier League just like former teammate Sulley Muntari.
“For me, it’s not only about the money,” he said. “Though the money is important because nobody will want to work and not be paid at the end of the day but the major focus is to put our local league on the map.
“Look at the crowd Sulley Muntari pulled in Tamale.”
