German giants Borussia Dortmund joins Ghana to celebrate Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day
German Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund has today joined Ghana to celebrate the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
Ghanaians today have observed the day as a Statutory Public Holiday in remembrance of the country’s first ever president, Dr. Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah.
In a post on Borussia Dortmund’s official Twitter page, the club has sent a goodwill message to all Ghanaians.
“Happy #KwameNkrumahMemorialDay to all our friends and family in Ghana,” the post reads.
The German club has over the years had a good connection with Ghana. Ghanaian coach Otto Addo currently works as one of the technical men with the senior team of the Yellow and Black outfit.
