GHALCA reaches agreement with NSS to provide service personnel to clubs
In their bid to improve the administrative running of clubs in the country, the Ghana League Clubs Association, GHALCA, has reached and agreement with the National Service Secretariat to secure service personnel for all clubs in the country.
Premier League, Women’s Premier League and Division One League clubs will, therefore, be injected with four different service personnel who will play different roles in the administration of the clubs to ensure progress and development.
In a secular signed by the Administrative Manager of GHALCA, Samuel Oduro-Nyarko, clubs will be entitled to a personnel each in the following areas; administration, accounts, marketing and information technology.
Monthly allowances for these personnel shall be provided by the NSS as has been the practice anytime they send out personnel to institutions.
This, when finally implemented, will be a major milestone in the history of Ghana football as it will be the first time NSS personnel will be attached to clubs through the ingenuity of GHALCA.
The agreement, and eventual implementation of the MoU will provide several youth entering the labour market the chance to explore the various job opportunities football offers as well as getting to know how football administration is run in Ghana.
Clubs will benefit immensely from the technical know-how of the personnel to be attached as most of the personnel shall also be provided with a platform of landing permanent jobs after their period of service.
