Ghana 2021 AFCON squad: Coach Milovan Rajevac includes Mohammed Kudus in final squad despite fitness concerns
Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has named Mohammed Kudus in his final 28-man squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament set to be staged in Cameroon.
The Serbian tactician a few weeks ago named a 30-man provisional squad to pitch camp in Doha, Qatar to prepare for the upcoming continental showpiece.
After making several assessments of players in and yet to report to camp, Coach Milovan Rajevac has settled on his final 28 man squad.
Although there are unresolved issues on the availability of talented attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, he has been included in the final squad.
As reported by footballghana early in the day, the Ajax forward is away with his team for a mid-season training camp as part of efforts to get him back to full fitness.
He is now expected to leave camp to join the Black Stars for the upcoming AFCON starting on January 9, 2022.
