Ghana FA capo Kurt Okraku insists he does not regret sacking CK Akonnor

Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku has said he does not regret sacking Charles Kwabla Akonnor as coach of the Black Stars.

The domestic football governing body in September 2021 parted ways with CK Akonnor together with his two assistant coaches over an uninspiring performance in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The former Asante Kotoko gaffer was replaced by Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac who led Ghana to AFCON 2010 final and also reaching the quarter finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The 67-year-old second coming is in the balance despite qualifying Ghana to the final play-offs of the World Cup.
