Ghana FA deploy military at Bekwai for New Edubiase - Samartex clash

The Ghana Football Association have deployed Military officers for the top of the table clash 2021/22 Division One League game between New Edubiase United FC and Samartex FC.

The move is to maintain sanity, incident free, peace and order before, during and after the matches involving high profile teams.

League leaders Samartex will lock horns with second place team New Edubiase at the Bekwai Gyamfis Park on Sunday.

Only three points separate the two side going to the game.

Due to this, the Ghana Football Association has requested for military presence in Bekwai.

“We wish to humbly request for your assistance in ensuring adequate security for an incident free event of our match day 15 game between New Edubiase United FC and Samertex FC at the Bekwai Gyamfi’s park”

“This request is in line with the GFA’s vision to engage your service to help maintain sanity, incident free, peace and order before, during and after the matches involving high profile teams”, statement from the GFA reads.
