Ghana prodigy Kamaldeen Sulemana shortlisted for Ligue 1 Player of the Month for October
In-form Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has been nominated for the French Ligue 1 player of the month for October following his outstanding performance.
The 19-year-old who joined Stade Rennes in the summer window has hit the ground running helping the side to go unbeaten last month.
He was delight to watch when Rennes shocked Paris Saint Germain with a 2-0 win providing an assist in the game and also scoring against FC Metz in their 3-0 win.
Sulemana earned a place in the Ligue 1 team of the week twice in October and will hope to bag the player of the month award.
He will have to beat off competition from Mohammed Ali of Sangers and Evann Guessand of OGC Nice.
