Ghanaian attacker Kamal Sowah excited with return to Leicester after loan spell last season
Ghanaian international, Kamal Sowah has expressed his joy after his return to Leicester City following years of loan spells away from the King Power Stadium.
The midfielder in the last three seasons was shipped out to play for clubs as a loan player to help his development.
This summer, he has had the chance to have his first senior pre-season training and appears set to have a role to play for the Foxes in the upcoming English Premier League season.
Speaking in a post-match interview after featuring in the friendly against Wycombe last Wednesday, Kamal Sowah says it feels great to be back at Leicester City.
“I’m feeling great, especially coming back to Leicester. It’s been a long time for me coming back here for me to get minutes with the first team.
“It’s always a great thing being able to be on the pitch, getting 45 minutes under my belt. That’s always the feeling – after a long holiday, you’re always going to get back your fitness, really good fitness, so that’s really great for me to get it back,” he told LCFC TV.
Sowah continued, “I think gradually, it has been great. Being together with my colleagues and everyone getting to know the players, for me, it’s been great out there.
“We’ve been working so hard because we’ve been we’ve been on a long holiday, so everyone is really working hard to come back to fitness. For me, it’s been great so far.”
The 21-year-old has so far been impressive in pre-season.
