Ghanaian attacker, Khalid Basit bagged a brace for himself on Wednesday afternoon when his Sheriff Tiraspol outfit hammered Saxan Gagauz Yeri 6-0 in Moldova.
Sheriff Tiraspol and Saxan Gagauz Yeri today locked horns at the Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol to battle for a win in Round 16 of the Moldovan Cup.
Having started for his team, Ghana’s Khalid Basit excelled with his displays as he played a key role to inspire his team to record a heavy victory.
On the matchday, the forward scored in the 27th and 56th minutes respectively to sandwich an equalizer from his compatriot Edmund Addo in the 44th minute.
With additional goals from Frank Castaneda, Dago Nadrey, and Maxim Cojocaru, Sheriff Tiraspol cruised to the big 6-0 win at the end of the one-sided contest.
Both Khalid Basit and Edmund Addo played full throttle in today’s win for Sheriff Tiraspol against Saxan Gagauz Yeri.
