Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Duah rescues a point for St. Gallen with 9th league goal
In-form midfielder Kwadwo Duah rescued a point for St. Gallen in their 1-1 stalemate with giants FC Zurich with his 9th goal of the season.
Duah, 24, climbed off the bench to grab the only goal for his side in a game that was ending in favour of the visitors.
The Ghanaian-born Swiss replaced Jeremy Guillimenot right after the break and fired home his side’s equalizer with fifteen minutes to end proceedings.
A Benjamin Kololli spot kick had put FC Zuric in front before Duah’s strike to secure a point for his side.
Duah has now scored nine goals for St Gallen in the Switzerland top-flight after 24 appearances in the Super League.
The game also saw Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi lasting the entire duration of for St. Gallen.
