GPL match week 11 preview: Berekum Chelsea vs Great Olympics
Berekum Chelsea will on Monday afternoon play hosts to Great Olympics in one of two outstanding games for week 11 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
With lots of movements occurring on the league table following Saturday and Sunday’s games, both sides will deem the fixture as important and will go all out for a win.
Accra Lions, WAFA and Legon Cities all won their respective games in week 11, meaning anything less than a win for Berekum Chelsea will put them in a precarious position.
Chelsea currently sit in 13th place with 11 points and just a point away from the drop zone.
Their current situation is largely as a result of their poor performances in their last three games, losing two and winning just once.
Their opponent for today, Great Olympics are pushing for a place in the top four and a win could help them boost their chances.
Olympics are currently enjoying a good run of form having won seven points out of their last 3 games in the Premier League.
