Hertha Berlin coach Pal Dardai tips KP Boateng to be a weapons for his side next season
The head coach for Hertha Berlin, Pal Dardai has hinted at using Kevin-Prince Boateng as a weapon next season in the German Bundesliga.
The experienced attacker returned to his boyhood club last month in a free-transfer that saw him end his stay at Italian Serie B outfit AC Monza.
Currently working hard in pre-season, KP Boateng last Wednesday featured for Hertha Berlin and impressed when the team drew 4-4 in a pre-season friendly against Hannover 96.
Speaking on the importance of the attacker to his team, Pal Dardai said after the friendly that KP Boateng will be a weapon for him next season.
“Prince plays the penultimate ball, collects goal entries, calms the team down. And his passes are just great, that brings us further,” the gaffer said while adding “When the freshness comes back, Boateng is a real Hertha weapon on the pitch.”
KP Boateng is hoping to stay fit in training to ensure he is able to help his team in the Bundesliga next season.
