High-flying Benab FC secures middle league qualification with the highest points tally in the Ashanti Region

High-flying Benab FC made history on Saturday when they walloped KSI Experience FC to secure a ticket to play in the 2021 Ashanti Regional Division Two Middle league.

The ‘Everything by God’ side sealed their spot with a 3-0 home win at the Kings College Park as they take a giant step in their pursuit for Division One Football.

Alex Opoku Sarfo broke the deadlock of the game following a good start from the host.

Gilbert Asamoah doubled Benab’s lead with a beautiful strike just before the break.

Affer the recess, Adu Gyasi added the third to seal a comfortable victory on the day.

Benab ended the campaign with %100 home record winning all their seven games at home.

The team led by experience Abu Adams won Zone 3 with 31 points followed by Jachie Youth who amassed 30 points.

The 31 points earned by Benab FC is the highest in the Ashanti Regional Division which underline their supremacy in the competition.

The club managed by Sterling Sports Africa have set their sight on securing Division One League ticket.
