In-form Seidu Mutawakilu makes NFPL team of the week
Ghana and Rangers International goalkeeper, Mutawakilu Seidu has made “Team Of The Week” after match day 18 of the Nigerian Professional Football League.
The tall and lanky shot stopper was in goal for the entire game when Rangers defeated League holders Akwa United 0-3 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Seidu made two crucial saves to denied the host in the second half.
Rangers have now gone four games without defeat in the League.
This is the second time the Ghanaian goalkeeper has been named in the Team of the week this season.
Seidu Mutawakilu played his youth career with Ghana based Asante Kotoko before joining rivals, Hearts of Oak.
He played on loan at fellow premier league side, Dreams FC before returning to finish his contract with Hearts of Oak.
He later joined Enugu Rangers International of Nigeria as a free agent.
He was a member of Ghana’s U-20 squad at the 2015 CAF Youth tournament in Senegal and the FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
