Legendary Asamoah Gyan shows massive support to Kurt at late dad’s funeral
Ghana’s all time top scorer Asamoah Gyan joined a host of top dignitaries at the final funeral rites of the deceased father of GFA President Kurt Okraku.
Gyan together with his manager Samuel Anim Yeboah were present at the Officers Mess to show support and mourn with the bereaved family.
The former Sunderland forward spent hours with the bereaved family before donating an undisclosed amount to support the funeral.
Kurt Okraku’s dad George Offei Simeon-Okraku Alias ‘Decide’ passed on Sunday, November 21, 2021 after a short illness.
The final funeral rites was held at the Officers Mess – Opposite the 37 Military Hospital on Friday, February 25, 2022.
The event drew well-wishers and from within and outside Ghana. There were offerings of tributory remarks and condolences to Kurt Okraku and family during this solemn occasion.
