Match Report : Eleven Wonders 0-0 WAFA – Academy lads hold Wonder to extend unbeaten run
WAFA extended their unbeaten run to six games following a 0-0 away draw against Eleven Wonders in Techiman.
A spirited performance saw the Sogakope based side frustrated the host at the Ohene Ameyew Park.
Wonders started the game very well dominating possession but couldn’t break into the WAFA defense.
Moro Sumaila came close on the 16th minute for the host but his shot went wide..
The visitors took over the game with some lovely exchanges in the middle of the park.
Despite the lack of possession, it was Wonders who came close from breaking the deadlock but profligacy on their part means the first half ended goalless.
After the break , the host kept piling pressure on the visitors but couldn’t find the break through.
Eleven Wonders huffed and puffed but WAFA defence were up to the task on the day.
WAFA held on untill the blast of the final whistle..
