Hearts of Oak beat Liberty Professionals 1-0 on match day 16 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Super substitute Isaac Mensah climbed off the bench to score what proved to be the match winner in the 76th minute.

The young striker pounced on a deflected shot by Hearts defender Raddy Ovouka and cleverly lobbed over the on-rushing Liberty Professionals goalie.

The game ended 1-0 with the Phobians recording back to back wins for the first time since January 2, 2021.

Hearts now sit in 6th in the table with 23 points, heading into Sunday’s game against arch rivals Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports stadium.
