Mohammed Kudus still not available for Ajax
Antony will be available for Ajax for the first time this season this Sunday. The Brazilian will travel with the selection to Enschede, where FC Twente is the opponent, De Telegraaf reports.
Due to Antony’s participation in the Olympic Games, which Brazil won, Ajax was only able to call on him late. Antony has been training with the selection of trainer Erik ten Hag all week and can be used for the first time against Twente. He probably won’t start in the base.
Ajax may not be able to appeal to Perr Schuurs. He has almost recovered from the calf injury he sustained against Leeds United, but is still in doubt before the game against Twente. Ten Hag cannot appeal to the still not fit Mohammed Kudus.
After one round of play, Ajax leads the Eredivisie on goal difference. The team from Amsterdam won 5-0 against NEC in the first round.
