Mohammed Kudus wins Foreign-based footballer of the year at SWAG Awards
Kudus Mohammed was awarded as the foreign-based player of the year at the 46th SWAG Awards.
After a spectacular year, the 21-year-old received this coveted award against heavy competition from national teammates Daniel Amartey and Jonathan Mensah.
Despite suffering injuries last season, Kudus has been brilliant for Ajax anytime he is in action at the Johan Cruyff Arena. The Black Stars midfielder won the Eredivise and the KVNB Cup last season.
The Right to Dream Academy graduate also played an important part in the senior national team’s qualifying for the 2021 AFCON as well as the playoff round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Kudus Mohammed is now undergoing treatment after injuring himself in the early stages of Ghana’s last group game against South Africa last month.
