The Ghana Premier League drama continues as title-chasing Asante Kotoko face Legon Cities.

The Match Day 22 fixture is a home game for relegation battling Legon Cities who will eye a positive result to keep their bid intact.

The Royals have won just one of their last 5 and know they need to reverse the trend if their hopes of beating the drop is to become a reality.

They will however draw inspiration from their recent home form. They are unbeaten at home in 2021 boasting a record of 4 wins in their 7 matches played at home this year.

Against Asante Kotoko, Legon Cities who currently lie 15th with just a point above the relegation zone will need to keep their home form on track.

However, they will need to dig deep to force the issue here with Kotoko coming into the game as Wounded lions.

Fresh from their confidence shattering defeat to Medeama last week, Coach Mariano Barretto’s side knows they cannot afford to not show up and deliver a solid performance. The loss to Medeama saw them relinquish top spot and they will be eager to return to the summit on Saturday before Medeama plays on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko have a very good away form this season, losing just once in their eleven travels in the league.

The corresponding fixture in the first round ended in a one nil win for Kotoko and they will be looking out for a similar result to keep their title push intact.
