Sulley Muntari may earn Black Stars call up for World Cup playoff against Nigeria – Richard Kingston
Former Inter and AC Milan star, Sulley Muntari could make a return to the Black Stars for the upcoming World Cup play-offs against Nigeria after explosive display for Hearts of Oak, according to goalkeepers trainer, Richard Kingston.
The 37-year-old has been outstanding since making a return to the Ghana Premier League.
He has featured three times for the Phobians after penning a one-year deal with the club weeks ago.
Muntari was explosive in the Super Clash last Sunday, however, a session of Ghanaians have started calling for the inclusion of the evergreen midfielder in the Black Stars set up for the crucial Wolrd Cup qualifier.
According to Richard Kingston, Muntari may earn a call up for the much-anticipated game next month.
Ghana will play host to Nigeria on March 24, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium before the revere fixture at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.
Muntari last featured for the national team at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
