Swansea fans react to Ayew’s departure: “Proper leader, Diolch Andre”
Following the news that Andre Ayew was among some players who have been released from the club, some supporters have taken to Twitter to express their views.
The Ghanaian who has been named “The King” as a result of his impressive performances for the club was released by the club this morning following 5 years of service.
While some supporters expressed their shock at his departure, others were full of praise for his service to the club.
One supporter wrote as a reply to the announcement: “47 goals and over 120 apps for us, proper leader and one that we will miss massively, thanks for the memories @AyewAndre” .
