There’s more to life than football – Mohammed Kudus
Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has stated that there is more to life than football when discussing the injury he suffered in November 2021.
Kudus was taken off after only 10 minutes of the game against Bafana Bafana due to a rib injury, despite not coming into touch with any other player.
The Ajax player had to sit out for over three months before making his comeback last week in an Eredivisie match against FC Twente.
The injury he got made him miss the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations despite former coach Milovan Rajevac adding him to the 28 man squad.
“I think normally when you’re playing all the time, you’re just focused on football and all of that. When you start getting injured and you’re out of football, you get to realize there’s more to life than just football,” he said.
