Legon Cities new recruit Victorien Adebayor has explained why he chose the Royals ahead of Hearts of Oak.

The mega rich club announced the loan signing of the Nigerien attacker on Thursday beating off interest from giants Hearts of Oak.

According to the  HB Køge player, he loves the challenge at struggling clubs as it helps him to also carve his name in their history.

“Hearts and Kotoko are big clubs and I don’t like big teams, I like smaller teams and I’m ready for challenges like that and that helps my career too,” he said at his unveiling.
