Ghana’s opponents in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers Ethiopia warmed up for Friday’s clash with an international friendly against neighbors Uganda yesterday.
The Walyas of Ethiopia, beat the Cranes by 2-1 with goals from Abubeker Nasir and Abel Yalew and the cranes’ consolation came through Yunus Sentamu.
Ethiopia who will be arriving in Ghana on Tuesday engaged the Cranes of Uganda in a friendly to get the team in shape ahead of Friday’s encounter.
The Black Stars will also commence preparations for Friday’s tie on Tuesday.
Ghana will host Ethiopia at the Cape-Coast Stadium on Friday for Matchday 1 of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers with kick-off set for 7pm.
