Have a positive outlook despite hardships -Kwame Jantuah admonishes Ghanaians

A member of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Kwame Jantuah, has admonished Ghanaians to have a positive outlook despite the country’s present economic plight.

According him, Ghana has gone through several difficult faces and has surmounted all and was hopeful the country can achieve same.

Mr Jantuah was speaking on TV3 NewDay monitored by GhanaPlus.com on Friday, October 14.

“I think we should all try as much as possible to have a positive outlook about the challenges,” he said.

Ghana’s economic crises

Ghana is currently at a cross road financially making life difficult for citizens at large.

Harsh economic conditions,  rising cost of living, high prices of petroleum products and it ripple effect on goods and services have become a source of worry for many as there seem to be no end in sight any time soon.

To make matters worse, the country’s currency, the Cedi has seen over 60% depreciation since the beginning of the year.

As at this morning, it is trading around ₵12 against the US dollars.

But in the face of this, Mr Jantuah said instead of lamenting about the present situation, Ghanaians must have a positive attitude and help find lasting solutions to the problems.

He was of the view, although, government a has huge task to play  in turning the fortunes of the country around, the citizenry equally have same to ensure the situation is brought under normalcy.

“We ve’ been through worse times and we have come over those worse times so instead of preaching the current situation we find ourselves in, let find a way of finding solution to it,” he said.

“And yes, government have a huge role to play but the people too has a huge role to play,” Kwame Jantuah added.
