Vida Essel-LampteyThe Chairman of the Public Procurement Authority, Professor Christopher Ameyaw Ekumfi has said he is not a procurement specialist neither has he any certificates pertaining to the office he is currently superintending.
That notwithstanding, he said the activities of the PPA are governed by laws and guidelines and that should be enough to enable one do the right thing as far as procurement is concerned.
“By working with the law, I am not a procurement specialist. In fact I haven’t had any course in procurement but the thing is, you see there is an act that establish PPA.
