The suspended former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Koku Anyidoho has said he is yet to receive responds from the General Secretary of the party concerning his letter demanding evident of his suppose expulsion from the party.

Give me my expulsion letter so i can advice myself

Mr Koku Anyidoho on Monday, August 2,  wrote to the General Secretary of the party, Mr Johnson Aseidu Nketia to officially  request for his expulsion letter to enable him advise himself on what next to do.

In the letter copied to the Chairman, Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Council of Elders, the National Executive Committee , the Functional Executive Committee, all sixteen regional chairmen of the NDC and others, the NDC stalwart said “without serving me with any document, per your voice and body language  made so many disparaging comments about my supposed ‘expulsion’  from the NDC; and gone further to make incendiary remarks about my working relationship with the late President Atta-Mills.

“Respectfully Sir, I am please requesting for the ‘expulsion’ letter for my perusal to enable me advice myself on the subsequent action(s) that I need to take,” the letter added.

 However, speaking on Okay FM on Wednesday, August 8, he said Mr Asiedu Nketia had still not responded to his letter.

 “I wrote to him last week, I sent a letter to the headquarters because that is how is done, you must serve the person at a fixed address so I wrote a personal letter to him copied all the necessaries offices…….Kwame, I have been very methodical, I wrote to him last week, he has still not responded,” he told the host.

Koku Anyidoho expelled from the NDC

Mr Koku Anyidoho was on Tuesday, July 27 expelled from the NDC over charges of misconduct and anti party behavior, six month after he was suspended over same.

He was found guilty of the charges by the Functional Executive Committee of the party following a complaint filed against him in two separate cases brought against him by two party members.

 The committee’s report (which is attached for your perusal) found you guilty of the allegations of misconduct and anti party behavior and recommended your outright expulsion from the party” the statement dated July 27 sighted by GhanaPlus.com read.

“The Functional Executive Committee (FEC), acting in compliance of article 48(1) of the NDC constitution unanimously adopted the report and accepts full responsibility for your expulsion from the party”.

“You, are, therefore by the decision of FEC expelled from the National Democratic Congress and for that matter, you are no more recognized as a member of the party and cannot carry yourself as such,it added.

Anyidoho let us with no option

Speaking about his suspension, the General Secretary, Mr Asiedu Nketia said, the party was left  with no other option than to expel him since Mr Anyidoho  invaded all attempt to haul him before the committee.
