What kind of advice does Osafo Marfo gives Akufo-Addo – Johnnie Hughes on Ministerial reshuffle

TV3’s broadcaster and journalist, Mr Johnnie Beresford Hughes has question the kind of advice the Senior Minister, now Senior Presidential Advisor to the President, Mr Yaw Osafo Marfo has been given the President, Nana Addo Dakwa Akufo-Addo.

He asked the question when reacting to the ministerial reshuffle announced on Tuesday, February, 7.

He noted, so far all of his advises to the President have not been good as far as he and Ghanaians are concerned.

“The President’s Advisor is 82, he is older than Ghana, the President is 78, he is older than Ghana, we are only 66, we are not up to even 70 as a nation and the two people who will lead and advice each other, the two of them, they are there, look at the mess we find ourselves in. We are not cutting expenditure, we are not doing things the way it has to be done. And we are watching, so what kind of advice do Mr Osafo Marfo give to the President, have you ask yourself,” Johnnie Hughes asked”.

“As for the talk, they know how to talk, I tell you. Beautiful speeches, you lie bad but I am saying that this is a section the President and his advisor are, what kind of advice, I am interested  because so far it has been bad. So far it has been bad,” he emphasized.

“Are we suggesting that it is the same old faces who have led us down through this ditch who will be able to deliver the mandate in the public good?. Are we suggesting that? because my heart bleed like many other young people”.

He made the comment on Johnnie’s Bite on SunRise on 3FM on Wednesday, February 8, monitored by GhanaPlus.com.

According to him, the President had a golden opportunity to redeem the image of the government but failed woefully adding that he did not only disappoint Ghanaians with the reshuffle but himself, his party and Parliament as well.

“…  So again, this morning, I ask you, ………. ask them what kind of advice does Mr Osafo Marfo gives to the President? because yesterday, Mr Akufo-Addo, he disappointed himself, disappointed Ghana, he disappointed Parliament, he disappointed his own party people, he disappointed all of us, ” Mr Hughes said.
