Popular Ghanaian fetish priestess turned an evangelist, Ms Patricia Asiedua, known as Nana Agradaa has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service over an alleged money doubling scam allegations.

A statement from the Service sighted by GhanaPlus.com said the Founder of the Heaven Way Church in Weija in Accra was arrested following allegations leveled against her by some members of the Ghanaian public believed to be members of her church.

“The suspect is currently assisting police investigation,” at the Accra Regional Command, a Facebook statement said.

“The PATRICIA ASIEDUA ALIAS NANA AGRADAA ARRESTED

The Police have arrested Patricia Asiedua alias Nana Agradaa following allegations of money doubling scam levelled against her by some members of the public.

The suspect is currently assisting police investigation, ”the Police said.

The  Ghana Police Service is calling anyone who have been a victims of the said money doubling scam to report to the service, specifically, its Greater Accra Regional Police Command to assist with investigations. .

“Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation”.

Videos circulating on social media space suggest, the self acclaimed evangelist, asked her congregant to  bring their monies to be doubled during church service but failed to give them the money back as promised.

The development have sparked agitation among her congregants.

Nana Agradaa is now a Christian

Nana Agradaa, a popular and controversial Ghanaian priestess on April 27 last year, announced she has given her life to Christ and now a bonafide Christian, an evangelist for that matter.

She made the announcement at a press conference and destroyed her supposed idols subsequently.

She was baptized there after and has since been practicing as a Christian.
