2022 World Cup play-off: Injured Baba Rahman sends inspirational message to Black Stars ahead of blockbuster clash against Nigeria

Crocked Reading FC defender Baba Rahman has sent an inspirational message of support to the Black Stars ahead of the blockbuster clash against Nigeria in the World Cup play-off.

Ghana and Nigeria will revive their rivalry tonight at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Black Stars plays the Super Eagles in a two-legged encounter with the winner securing one of the five slots on the African continent.

Baba will miss the doubleheader against the Super Eagles due to injury he sustained in February.

However, coach Otto Addo replaced the on-loan Chelsea defender with Hearts of Oak left-back Dennis Korsah.

“Good luck to the guys this evening. We know who we are and when we do what we have to do, the results will make our country proud,” he wrote on Twitter.
