Ashantigold coach Thomas Duah idolizes ex-Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah

 

Interim Ashantigold gaffer Thomas Duah has named former Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah as his role model.

Duah, who guided the miners to the final of the MTN FA Cup in the just-ended season in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh FM shared he is looking up to Kwasi Appiah who has caught his eye with his work ethics and coaching skill.

Kwasi Appiah, who began his coaching career in 1992 is considered as one of ther best coaches in the country having managed the national team and a club in Sudan.

“I look up to former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah as a coach.”

Thomas Duah served as an assistant coach at Ashantigold under Milovan Cirkovic and Romain Folz in the 2020/21 season.

He took over the club in the interim following their departure where he guided the club to the FA Cup final losing 8-7 on penalties to Hearts of Oak.
