Hearts of Oak plot move for Berekum Chelsea midfielder Ushau Abu
Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are believed to be plotting a move for Ushau Abu from Berekum Chelsea in the ongoing transfer window.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a descent 2020/21 campaign with Chelsea featuring in over 30 matches for the club in all competitions.
The enterprising midfielder is believed to have become a subject of interest for several clubs including the Phobians who are keen to bolster their midfield in the absence of Benjamin Afutu.
Afutu, who played a vital role in the club double-winning season departed Ghana last week to seal a move to an Egyptian club.
According to reports, Hearts of Oak have requested for the services of the midfielder and it is believed negotiations are far advanced and is likely Ushau Abu could seal a move in the coming days.
Ushau Abu will come in as a direct replacement for departed Benjamin Afutu who refused to extend his deal with the rainbow boys after the expiration of his contract.
