Hearts of Oak to lose defender Raddy Ovouka after FIFA intervention

Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak is on the verge of losing Congolese star Raddy Ovouka as his buy-out clause has been met by a club.

The 22-year-old who has been impressive since joining the Phobians could leave the club after FIFA intervention.

According to reports, a couple of clubs including two French Ligue 1 outfits wrote to Hearts of Oak to request for negotiations to be opened over the transfer of the enterprising defender.

But the rainbow boys never respond to the offer forcing interested clubs to back off.

Footballghana.com understands, the world football governing body has intervened in the impasse and is set to activate the necessary provisions to allow the defender leave the club under the release clause of his contract valued at $385,000.

Ovouka is a key cog of the Congo national team.
