Jordan Ayew has completely lost his confidence after constant criticism – Prince Tagoe
Former Ghana striker, Prince Tagoe has noted that Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew has completely lost his confidence due to the constant criticism he has faced.
The Crystal Palace attacker was in action for Ghana on Sunday night and missed a glorious chance at a time the game was still goalless.
Speaking to Angel TV on that miss, Prince Tagoe says it is because the criticism of Ghanaians has gotten a toll on Jordan Ayew.
“On a normal day, Jordan Ayew would’ve buried that chance but I think he has completely lost his confidence,” the ex-Hearts of Oak striker said.
Prince Tagoe added, “It’s clear that the criticisms have affected him but we need to support him to rediscover. He works hard in every game.”
Despite missing that chance, Jordan Ayew was instrumental for Ghana in the game that ended in a 1-0 win against South Africa.
