My goal is to keep Yeni Malatyaspor in the league – Benjamin Tetteh
Malatyaspor striker Benjamin Tetteh revealed that they had conversations with Galatasaray for a period, but the move did not take place because to a variety of factors.
Tetteh, who stated, “we closed that book” on Galatasaray’s move, stated that his primary ambition for the time being is to keep Yeni Malatyaspor in the league.
“We are in the last row of the league. Considering the quality of the team, we don’t deserve to be here. Sometimes things like this happen in football. We will show Turkey that everything has changed after a win. I feel the pressure, but all my teammates feel it. Because football is a team game,”
“I try to do my best on the field. Our new friends joined the camp. This has been good for us. I came to the match from the airport half an hour before. My teacher also trusted me in the Beşiktaş match. I scored a penalty for my team in the match. I am happy for that,” he concluded.
Regarding Coach Marius Sumudica, “He is one of the most enjoyable people I have worked with in my career.’ Tetteh said: “Scores against big teams give us confidence. After that, I think we’ll go out. Adem Büyük is a very good person. I benefit from his experience. He is one of the most enjoyable people I have worked with in my career. Because he has experience, he knows well where to joke and where to be serious. I wish everyone could see him outside of the cameras. We are very happy with our teacher. It affects us psychologically well.” He used his expressions,”
Explaining that there were transfer negotiations with Galatasaray for a while, Tetteh said: “I had meetings with Galatasaray for a while. For some reason it didn’t happen and we closed that notebook. The Turkish league is such a league that you don’t know what’s going to happen. My only goal right now is to keep Malatyaspor in the league,” he stated.
