Pre-AFCON camping: All 30 invited Black Stars players to be in Doha this weekend

All the 30-man provisional squad invited by Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac will be in camp in Doha, Qatar, this weekend.

Yesterday, the Serbian tactician at a press conference held at the secretariat of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced his provisional squad made up of experienced and talented young players.

On the schedule issued by the GFA early this month, the Black Stars will begin camping today, Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in Doha, Qatar for a 17-day training camp in preparation for the AFCON.

Sources have confirmed that while players are expected to begin arriving in Qatar tonight, all the players are not expected to report to camp until the weekend.

In Qatar, the Black Stars will play three friendly matches including one against AFCON defending champions, Algeria.

The 2021 AFCON will kick off on Sunday, January 09, 2022.
