Efia Odo calls President Akufo-Addo incompetent, cold hearted

Ghanaian celebrity and #FixTheCountry campaigner, Ms Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo has described the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as incompetent and cold hearted.

She made the comment in a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com.

 #FixTheCountry @NAkufoAddo you’re incompetent and cold hearted. God will judge you accordingly,” she wrote.

in another she wrote, “I need to get of Twitter for the day. The economic crises and seeing the food given to shs students got my blood hot and fingers ready to tweet my thoughts. The way the country is headed is extremely sad”.

Prince David Osei calls out Akufo-Addo

Efia Odo’s tweet comes a day after Ghanaian actor and ardent supporter of the New Patriotic Party,Prince David Osei called out the President, Nana Akufo-Addo over the resent economic hardships in the country.

The actor who was very active during the party’s 2020 election campaigns said Ghanaians deserve better and if nothing is done to improve the hardship confronting the people, he together with his colleagues will mobilize the youth to hit the street.

He opined, he was wrong for throwing his weight behind the President, during the 2020 elections.

“Mr President! With all due respect Mr President, why are you sleeping on Ghanaians.. This is not acceptable Mr President? We deserve better, we know there are global crisis and hardship. Yes we know! But looks like you and your ministers are determined to inflict untoward hardship to the citizenry,” Prince David Osei said in an Instagram post.

“I decided to give you and your government the benefit of the doubt, I reckon I was wrong! The Youth of this nation are not smiling, it pours, but we are still sweating.. If things don’t change by December, we will mobilize the youth of this country and hit the street irrespective of party affiliations, whether NPP, NDC, CQQ, PNC whatever, doesn’t matter now, we are all in this together.. God bless our motherland 🇬🇭 We want to see improvement in our livelihoods.. If you have to sack some people do it without fear or favor because your legacy is on the line Sir!!@nakufoaddo,” he added.

Hardships in Ghana

Ghana seems to be falling into a ditch economically, with no end in sight of when situations will get better.

High cost of living, sky rocking prices of good and service, frequent hikes in petroleum products with it ripple effect on virtually every aspect of life coupled with lack of jobs has become a source of worry for many, especially, the youth.

The continuous fall of the Cedis against major trading currencies has made the country’s plight even worse.

Government has blamed the development on the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the Russia Ukraine war.
